I am not a fan of the implication that United States students dress comfortably but not with style. Excuse me, not all of us wear gopher sweats to class. I basically wear jeans and sweaters and dark colors every day so I'm already on top of my game. Also skirts (for women). What about people who identify with a gender that isn't their biological one? Hmm? Or people that simply don't feel the need to follow their socially "accepted" modes of gender presentation?
(Oh god this blog is becoming a monster already like Mark Zuckerberg's LJ in The Social Network . Expect frequent references to this film).
Just a warning for when you are reading this in like, August, my "what to pack" posts are going to be FRANTIC.
